The private room

Most practices ask you
to come to them.

The private room works the other way. The house comes to you — with a practitioner matched to your body, your schedule, and the space you are already in. No commute. No shared room. No fixed format borrowed from a class you did not design.

Private sessions at ASA Yoga are 1-to-1. They are held at your home, your garden, your hotel, or wherever you choose to practise. The programme is built around you at the first session and adjusted as the practice develops. Nothing is off the shelf.

How the house works

Four things that do not change.

i

Match before booking

The programme is designed to the person, not from a menu. The house reviews your brief and selects a practitioner whose discipline and temperament fit before anything is confirmed.

ii

Discretion as default

Practitioners are vetted privately. Client names are never shared. Profiles are sent in the proposal stage. What happens in a private session stays in a private session.

iii

6 modalities, one standard

Yoga, breathwork, movement, recovery, sound, nutrition. The practice is not limited to a single modality. The house works across all 6, held to one standard of delivery.

iv

Hospitality over performance

The practitioner arrives, sets up, and departs quietly. The session is yours. There is no performance, no social media, no audience. The house is a guest in your space.

Session formats

Three ways to begin.

All sessions are delivered to your location. All equipment is brought by the practitioner. Nothing is required from you except the space and the time.

i

1-to-1 Session

60 minutes · Single guest

A single session designed entirely to you. The practitioner arrives with all equipment and a brief understanding of your goals. The programme begins at the first session and is refined from there. Available as a one-time session or a recurring commitment.

From SGD 380 per session

ii

Couples Session

90 minutes · 2 guests

Two people, one session, one practitioner. The programmes are designed separately and held in the same space. The experience is shared without being identical — each person works at their own level and pace within the same 90 minutes.

From SGD 520 per session

iii

Recurring Programme

4 or 8 sessions · Committed sequence

A committed sequence with the same practitioner across 4 or 8 weeks. The programme is designed at the first session and adjusted as the practice develops. This is where the work becomes cumulative — the practitioner knows the body and can work into it over time.

From SGD 1,380 for 4 sessions

A note on logistics

"The practitioner arrives with everything needed. Mats, props, and equipment are brought to you. All that is required is a clear space of roughly 2 by 4 metres."

How a private session begins

From first conversation to first session — typically 3 to 5 days.

i

Write to the house

Send a brief note — your location, your schedule, what you are looking for, and any considerations the practitioner should know. There is no form to fill. A message is enough.

ii

The house responds

We respond within one working day. We may ask one or two clarifying questions. We do not send a brochure. We have a brief conversation.

iii

A practitioner is matched

Christine reviews the brief and selects a practitioner from the roster. A private profile is sent for your consideration. If the match does not feel right, we re-match before any session is held.

iv

The session is arranged

A time is confirmed. The practitioner arrives to your location. The first session is also an assessment — the programme is built from what the practitioner observes in the room.

Questions

What guests usually ask.

  • i

What does a private session with ASA Yoga include?

A private session is 60 minutes, delivered to your location in Singapore. The practitioner brings all equipment — mat, props, and any tools needed for the session. The programme is designed to you: your body, your schedule, your goals. No shared space, no fixed format. From SGD 380 per session.

  • ii

Where does the house deliver private sessions?

Across Singapore — Districts 9, 10, and 11, Sentosa Cove, the East Coast, Marina Bay, and hotel locations across the city. Sessions on yachts and at retreat properties can also be arranged. Travel within Singapore is included. Speak with us about locations further afield.

  • iii

How quickly can a first session be arranged?

From first conversation to first session is typically 3 to 5 days. The house responds to all enquiries within one working day. The pace is set by the matching process — we do not send a practitioner before the match feels right.

  • iv

    Who delivers the session?

A practitioner from ASA Yoga's private, vetted roster. Christine reviews every brief personally and selects the practitioner whose discipline and temperament fit. A private profile is shared before the first session. Practitioner names are not listed publicly — discretion is the default.

  • v

    What modalities are available?

Private sessions can draw from all 6 modalities the house works in: yoga, breathwork, movement, recovery, sound, and nutrition. Most guests begin with yoga or movement. The programme expands as the relationship develops. There is no fixed menu — the practice is designed to the person.

  • vi

What space is required at my location?

A clear area of roughly 2 metres by 4 metres is sufficient for most sessions. Living rooms, bedrooms, terraces, and gardens all work. The practitioner will adapt to the space that is available. If you are uncertain, describe your space when you write and we will advise.

  • vii

Can I book a single session before committing to a programme?

Yes. A single 1-to-1 session can be arranged without any commitment to continue. Most guests who begin with a single session choose to continue — but that decision is always yours, and it is made after the session, not before.

  • viii

Are sessions available for pre- or postnatal practice?

Yes. The house can match guests with practitioners who hold specific prenatal and postnatal training. Please note this when you write so the right practitioner is selected from the start.
